Recommended use

Shake well before opening. Consume approximately 100 ml daily, on its own or with a meal.

It may also be used in soups, smoothies, sauces, savoury dishes or carrot cake.

Carrot juice can be a useful addition to daily vegetable intake, but it should not be expected to improve vision, treat a skin disorder or prevent infections on its own.

Because beta-carotene is fat-soluble, consume the juice with a meal containing a small amount of healthy fat. There is no need to add a large amount of oil or exceed the recommended serving.

Reduce the intake if the palms or soles gradually become yellow-orange. Yellowing of the whites of the eyes is not typical of excess beta-carotene and requires medical assessment.

Sudden vision loss, flashes, a curtain-like shadow, eye pain or loss of part of the visual field requires urgent ophthalmological assessment.
