Probotanic Wild Oregano Oil 5 ml is a food supplement based on 100% pure, undiluted and organic essential oil of wild oregano, Origanum minutiflorum.
The oil is obtained by steam distillation of wild oregano leaves originating from Turkey. According to the manufacturer, it contains at least approximately 80% carvacrol, together with naturally occurring thymol and other essential-oil components.
Because of its high concentration, the oil has an extremely intense and pungent taste. It must never be swallowed undiluted. For oral use, the recommended number of drops must be mixed with a teaspoon of edible carrier oil and taken after a meal.
The product may be used orally, externally or for steam inhalation only after appropriate dilution and according to the manufacturer’s instructions. It does not replace antibiotics, antifungal medicines, inhaled treatment or any medication prescribed by a doctor.

Oral use according to the manufacturer’s label
- Adults take two drops three times daily.
- Use for ten days during one month.
- Always dilute each dose in a teaspoon of edible oil.
- Olive, sunflower, coconut, flaxseed or another suitable edible oil may be used.
- Take after a meal, not on an empty stomach.
- Swallow promptly without holding the mixture in the mouth.
- A glass of cool water may be taken afterwards.
- Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
Use in children
Because this is a highly concentrated essential oil, use in children requires prior advice from a paediatrician or pharmacist.
The current manufacturer’s instructions provide a schedule for children over six years of age: one drop two to three times daily for 10–14 days, diluted in a teaspoon of edible oil or honey and taken after a meal.
Do not administer unless the age, dose and directions are clearly confirmed on the physical product label.
External use
- Measure 30–50 drops of oregano oil.
- Mix with 100 ml of a suitable carrier or edible oil.
- Before wider use, apply a small amount of the diluted mixture to a limited skin area.
- Wait at least 24 hours and check for redness, itching or irritation.
- If tolerated, apply a thin layer to intact skin.
- Never apply the undiluted oil to the face, intimate area or sensitive skin.
Steam inhalation according to the manufacturer
- Add only one drop to approximately half a litre of freshly boiled water.
- Place the container on a stable surface to prevent burns or spillage.
- Inhale carefully for a short period with the eyes closed.
- Do not bring the face too close to the hot water.
- Stop immediately if coughing, breathlessness, dizziness, burning or breathing difficulty occurs.
Essential-oil inhalation is unsuitable for young children and people with asthma, bronchial hyperreactivity or known allergies. Seek medical advice before use in respiratory conditions.

Probotanic Wild Oregano Oil is a highly concentrated essential oil. Always mix two drops thoroughly with a full teaspoon of edible oil and take it after a meal. Water alone does not adequately dilute an essential oil.
Do not increase the number of drops because symptoms are more intense. A larger dose increases the risk of irritation, stomach discomfort and palpitations without guaranteeing a better result.
Do not stop or replace prescribed antibiotics or antifungal medicines with oregano oil. Suspected bacterial or fungal infections require an appropriate diagnosis.
For external use, always prepare a diluted mixture with a carrier oil. Undiluted essential oil may cause chemical irritation, particularly on the face, skin folds and intimate areas.
People taking blood-thinning medication or living with anaemia, liver or kidney disease, heart-rhythm disorders or severe hypertension should not use the product without medical approval.
Recurring, worsening or persistent symptoms should be assessed rather than managed by repeatedly extending essential-oil use.
