Pharmacist’s advice

During chemotherapy, do not introduce dietary supplements, herbal preparations, concentrated juices or “detox” products on your own without approval from an oncologist or pharmacist. Even natural products may have side effects, allergic reactions or potential interactions with therapy. If you experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, mouth sores, fever, infection, blood count changes or any adverse reactions during therapy, contact your healthcare team first.
