How to include it in a routine

Morning: gentle cleansing, Anua Heartleaf toner, serum if required, Anua Heartleaf 70% cream and sunscreen.

Evening: remove makeup and sunscreen, cleanse, apply toner, targeted serum and the cream as the final step.

When the skin is red, tight or sensitive, keep the routine simple: gentle cleansing, a hydrating serum if needed, soothing moisturiser and daily sunscreen. Temporarily avoid frequent exfoliation, retinoids and several strong active ingredients in the same routine.

Apply the cream while the skin is still slightly damp from toner or serum. Humectants such as glycerin and panthenol can then support hydration, while emollient and lipid ingredients help reduce water evaporation.

For oily but dehydrated skin, use a thin layer. Dry skin may require a slightly more generous application, particularly at night or during cold weather.

Seek dermatological advice if redness is accompanied by severe itching, swelling, cracking, weeping, pain or pronounced scaling.
