Zomig contains zolmitriptan and belongs to a group of medicines known collectively as triptans. It is used in the treatment of migraine headaches. Migraine symptoms can be caused by dilation of blood vessels in the head. Zomig is thought to reduce the dilation of these blood vessels. In this way, the headache and other symptoms of a migraine attack, such as nausea and vomiting and sensitivity to light and sound, stop. Zomig only works when the migraine attack has already started. It will not prevent migraine attacks.
You must not use Zomig:
In case of known hypersensitivity (allergy) to zolmitriptan or to the excipients in the tablets (see chapter 6: Additional information),
In case of high blood pressure,
If you have ever had heart disease, including a heart attack, angina (chest pain caused by exercise or exertion), Prinzmetal's angina (chest pain at rest), or if you have other heart problems, such as shortness of breath or chest tightness
If you have had a stroke or short-term stroke-like symptoms (transient ischemic attack - TIA)
If you have severe kidney damage
If you are taking other medicines for migraine, (eg ergotamine or medicines containing ergot alkaloids, such as dihydroergotamine and methysergide) or other medicines from the group of triptans. See section Using other medicines for further information.
Do not take Zomig if any of the above applies to you. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Zomig.
Method of use:
You can take Zomig as soon as a migraine attack starts or if you notice it is about to start. The usual daily dose is one 2.5 mg tablet.
Tablets are swallowed with a glass of water. If your symptoms do not go away after 2 hours, or if the attack recurs within 24 hours, take another Zomig tablet. Do not take more than two tablets (5 mg) in 24 hours.
If the medicine does not help you, tell your doctor. This may be the reason for your treatment to be changed. Do not take more medicine than prescribed. Do not take more than two doses in one day, unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor.
The maximum daily dose is 10 mg.
Composition:
1 tablet contains 2.5 mg zolmitriptan.

Delivery restrictions on goods
Delivery of items purchased on the site www.apotekaonline.rs is made exclusively through the Daily Express courier service in the territory of the Republic of Serbia. Delivery outside the territory of the Republic of Serbia, ie export of goods, is done exclusively through the service of DHL and PostExport Post of Serbia.

For the territory of the Republic of Serbia:
For goods ordered up to 5.000,00 RSD, delivery charge is 260.00 RSD (VAT included). For goods over 5.000,00 RSD, shipping is free of charge.
For international delivery:
For the export of goods abroad through the PostExport service of Post of Serbia, the shipping price is for:
- Zone I (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia) - 1,280.00 RSD
- Zone II (Other European countries) - 1,790.00 RSD

For export of goods abroad through DHL service, the shipping price is 2,700.00 RSD. Delivery time is 1-5 business days (depending on the country of delivery)
Shipping cost is with tax. The price includes the delivery of the parcel to the buyer's address with the associated tax and customs at the seller's expense. A possible additional cost may be a customs charge against the buyer, depending on the country to which the package is being shipped.
