Similar symptoms may be caused by a bacterial infection, benign prostate enlargement, urinary stones, bladder disease or another urological condition. The underlying cause should therefore be identified before prolonged supplement use.

Urolo-Q is a dietary supplement and not a medicine for acute or chronic bacterial prostatitis, urinary tract infection, benign prostate enlargement, prostate cancer or another urological disorder.

It does not replace urinalysis, urine culture, PSA testing, ultrasound, a urological examination, antibiotics or other prescribed treatment.

Seek urgent medical care in cases of complete inability to urinate, blood in the urine, fever with chills, severe lower abdominal or back pain, vomiting or a sudden worsening of symptoms.

Do not use in cases of a known allergy to pollen or another ingredient. Caution is required in people allergic to pineapple, papaya, bee products or other botanical allergens.

Bromelain may increase bleeding tendency. People using warfarin, other anticoagulants, aspirin, clopidogrel or similar medicines should consult a doctor before use.

Inform the doctor about product use before planned surgery, dental procedures or a prostate biopsy. Temporary discontinuation may be required according to professional advice.

The manufacturer describes a theoretical interaction between quercetin and fluoroquinolone antibiotics. Do not use with ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin or related antibiotics without medical approval.

Possible adverse reactions include nausea, abdominal discomfort, bloating, diarrhoea, headache, mild tingling or an allergic reaction. Stop use immediately in cases of a rash, swelling, difficulty breathing or another pronounced reaction.

The product is not intended for children or women.

Take Urolo-Q with a meal because use on an empty stomach may cause nausea or discomfort in some users. Persistent complaints should not be assessed after only a few days, but the supplement should also not be used for months without an established diagnosis and periodic urological review.

Chronic prostatitis and chronic pelvic pain syndrome are not the same as acute bacterial prostatitis. Antibiotics are appropriate only when a doctor confirms or reasonably suspects a bacterial infection. Supplement use should not delay medical assessment.

Regular physical activity, avoiding prolonged sitting, moderate alcohol and caffeine intake and monitoring foods that worsen symptoms may form part of a wider approach to pelvic and urinary comfort.

What does one tablet contain?
One tablet contains a 750 mg proprietary blend of quercetin, pollen extract, papain and bromelain, together with 75 mg of calcium.

How is it taken?
According to the manufacturer's directions, one tablet is taken twice daily with meals. The declaration on the specific pack always takes priority.

How long does one pack last?
At two tablets daily, the pack lasts approximately 30 days.

Does Urolo-Q treat prostatitis?
No. It is a dietary supplement and does not replace diagnosis of the type of prostatitis, antibiotics for bacterial infection or other treatment.

Is it intended for an enlarged prostate?
Its primary role is nutritional support for persistent pelvic discomfort and non-bacterial prostate complaints. Symptoms of prostate enlargement require separate assessment and treatment selection.

Can it be used with an antibiotic?
The combination should be checked with a doctor or pharmacist. Particular caution is advised with fluoroquinolone antibiotics.

Can it be taken with blood-thinning medication?
Not without medical advice because bromelain may increase bleeding risk.

Is it suitable for people with pollen allergy?
It is not recommended in people with a known allergy to pollen or another product ingredient.
