Strong Nature Melatonin 3 mg Prolonged Release – 30 tablets is a dietary product – food for special medical purposes – providing 3 mg melatonin per tablet. The formula uses MicroSR® MicroActive® Melatonin, micronised melatonin incorporated into a controlled prolonged-release matrix.
The technology is designed to combine an initial and a gradual release of melatonin during the night. According to the manufacturer, the initial phase provides earlier melatonin release, while the remaining amount is gradually released over several hours, making the formula particularly relevant for people who have difficulty maintaining sleep as well as falling asleep.
Melatonin contributes to the reduction of time taken to fall asleep and also contributes to the alleviation of subjective feelings of jet lag.

Directions for sleep onset: adults take 1 tablet with a glass of water 30–60 minutes before bedtime, or as advised by a doctor.
For time-zone changes: according to the manufacturer's directions, take 1 tablet before bedtime on the day before travel and continue for several days after travelling.

Persistent or newly developed insomnia, loud snoring with pauses in breathing, pronounced daytime sleepiness or significant mood changes require assessment of the underlying cause.
