Pharmacist advice

Apply the mask to clean skin shortly after showering. The skin may be slightly damp but should not be completely wet, allowing the product to spread and absorb evenly.

A very thick layer is unnecessary. A thin, even layer is sufficient, while excessive product may leave a sticky feel.

For moderately dry skin, use the mask alone once or twice weekly. For more pronounced dryness, it may be layered over body cream, particularly on the lower legs, elbows and knees.

Although the formula absorbs quickly, wait several minutes before dressing to reduce transfer to clothing or bedding.

Recurring dryness accompanied by severe itching, cracking, sores, redness or marked flaking requires assessment of the underlying cause rather than cosmetic masking alone.

For active dermatitis or confirmed fragrance allergy, gentle fragrance-free emollients are preferable.
