PharmaS Femipause, 60 capsules, is a food supplement with a practical 2-in-1 day and night concept for women during perimenopause and menopause. The pack contains 30 light-yellow day capsules and 30 blue night capsules, providing a 30-day supply.

The day capsule combines red clover and flax seed coat extracts with B vitamins. The night capsule contains Chinese angelica and valerian root extracts together with 1 mg of melatonin and is intended for use before bedtime.

Femipause DAY

How do the Femipause day and night formulas work?

Red clover (Trifolium pratense) naturally contains isoflavones. Each day capsule provides 100 mg of red clover extract, including 40 mg of isoflavones. Red clover contributes to reducing menopausal discomfort such as hot flushes and increased sweating.

Flax seed coat extract provides plant lignans. Each day capsule contains 100 mg of extract, including at least 20 mg of secoisolariciresinol diglucoside – SDG.

Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity. Niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamins B6 and B12 and folic acid contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Pantothenic acid contributes to normal synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D and certain neurotransmitters.

Chinese angelica and valerian are contained in the night capsule. Valerian is traditionally included in preparations intended for evening relaxation and restful sleep.

Melatonin contributes to reducing the time required to fall asleep. The beneficial effect is obtained by taking 1 mg of melatonin shortly before bedtime.

Directions for use and important warnings

Light-yellow DAY capsule: take one capsule daily with half a glass of water after breakfast.
Blue NIGHT capsule: take one capsule daily with half a glass of water approximately half an hour before bedtime.
Do not take more than one day and one night capsule within 24 hours.
Always follow the instructions provided on the original packaging.

Important information and warnings

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding or for children under 12 years.
Not recommended for women with hormone-dependent tumours without explicit medical approval.
Women using hormone therapy or regularly taking medicines should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
Not recommended in cases of intestinal obstruction, difficulty swallowing or unexplained abdominal pain.
Do not drive or operate machinery after taking the night capsule.
Do not combine the night capsule with alcohol, sedatives or additional melatonin without professional advice.

Femipause may be practical when daytime hot flushes and fatigue occur together with difficulty falling asleep. The day formula contains phytoestrogens and is therefore not suitable for every woman.
