No-Spa is a drug containing the active substance drotaverine, which is an antispasmodic drug that relaxes smooth muscles and reduces spasms. It is used for short-term relief of pain caused by spasms in smooth muscles, such as pain in the stomach, biliary tract and urinary system.
Usage:
No-Spa is used to treat:
Spasms in the smooth muscles of the digestive system, such as pain in the stomach or intestines.
Spasms in the smooth muscles of the urinary system, such as pain caused by stones in the kidneys or urinary tract.
Spasms in the smooth muscles of the biliary tract, such as pain caused by gallstones.
Dosage:
The recommended dose for adults is usually 3 to 6 tablets per day, divided into 2 to 3 doses. The medicine should be taken only on the doctor's recommendation and for as short a period of time as possible (1 to 3 days). If 30 minutes after taking the first dose of 40 mg, the intensity of the pain has not significantly decreased, the dose can be repeated. If the effects of the drug are absent even after the second dose, it is necessary to stop its further use and consult a doctor immediately.

Notes:
No-Spa is not recommended for people with severe impairment of liver, kidney or heart function, as well as for children under 12 years of age. The drug contains lactose, so people with lactose intolerance should consult a doctor before use.
