Nevotens is a drug containing the active substance nebivolol, a selective beta-blocker used to treat high blood pressure and as an adjunct therapy for the treatment of mild to moderate chronic heart failure in patients over 70 years of age.
The drug must not be used if you are allergic to nebivolol or any other ingredient of the drug, if you have low blood pressure, serious problems with circulation in the arms and legs, very slow pulse, other serious heart rhythm disorders, bronchial asthma, untreated pheochromocytoma, liver function disorder or metabolic acidosis.
Possible side effects include feeling tired, itching or burning, diarrhea, constipation, shortness of breath, and swelling of the hands or feet. Uncommon side effects may affect up to 1 in 100 patients and include slow heart rate, low blood pressure, pain in the legs when walking, visual disturbance, digestive disturbances, skin rash, itching and difficulty breathing. Very rare side effects may affect up to 1 in 10,000 patients and include worsening of psoriasis.
The recommended dose for treating high blood pressure is usually 5 mg per day, taken at the same time each day. For the treatment of chronic heart failure, the starting dose is usually 1.25 mg per day, with a gradual increase to a maximum dose of 10 mg per day. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions regarding the dosage and regimen of taking the medicine.
During nebivolol treatment, your doctor will monitor your blood pressure, heart rate and heart function to ensure the effectiveness and safety of the therapy. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor, as this may make your condition worse. Shipping cost is with tax. The price includes the delivery of the parcel to the buyer's address with the associated tax and customs at the seller's expense. A possible additional cost may be a customs charge against the buyer, depending on the country to which the package is being shipped.
