Nebilet is a drug containing the active substance nebivolol, a selective beta-blocker with vasodilator properties. It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and as an adjunct to therapy for stable chronic heart failure in patients over 70 years of age.
Composition and shape
Active substance: nebivolol (5 mg per tablet)
Excipients: lactose, polysorbate 80, hypromellose, corn starch, carmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate
Pharmaceutical form: white round biconvex scored tablet, diameter about 9 mm
Packaging: blister packs of 14 tablets
Method of application
Recommended dosage:
Hypertension: 5 mg once daily
Stable chronic heart failure: start at 1.25 mg daily, gradually increase to 10 mg daily
How to take: swallow whole with a glass of water, without chewing or crushing
Taking with food: can be taken with or without food
Note: Therapy should be started under the supervision of a physician, especially in patients with heart failure.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, Nebilet can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. The most commonly reported side effects include:
slow heartbeat (bradycardia)
dizziness
worsening heart failure
low blood pressure (hypotension)
swelling of the lower extremities
1st degree AV block
Very rare side effects include:
angioedema (swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat)
allergic reactions with widespread skin eruptions

Contraindications and warnings
Nebilet must not be used if you have:
low blood pressure (systolic pressure less than 90 mmHg)
very slow heart rate (less than 60 beats per minute)
heart rhythm disorders (e.g. atrioventricular block II and III degree)
asthma or a history of bronchospasm
pheochromocytoma (adrenal gland tumor)
severe disorders of liver function
metabolic acidosis

For the territory of the Republic of Serbia:
For goods ordered up to 5.000,00 RSD, delivery charge is 260.00 RSD (VAT included). For goods over 5.000,00 RSD, shipping is free of charge.
For international delivery:
For the export of goods abroad through the PostExport service of Post of Serbia, the shipping price is for:
- Zone I (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia) - 1,280.00 RSD
- Zone II (Other European countries) - 1,790.00 RSD
- Zone III (Asia, Africa, America, Australia and other countries) - 2,650.00 RSD
Delivery time is 15 days or more (depending on the country of delivery)
For export of goods abroad through DHL service, the shipping price is 2,700.00 RSD. Delivery time is 1-5 business days (depending on the country of delivery)
Shipping cost is with tax. The price includes the delivery of the parcel to the buyer's address with the associated tax and customs at the seller's expense. A possible additional cost may be a customs charge against the buyer, depending on the country to which the package is being shipped.
