Nebido is a drug that contains the active substance testosterone undecanoate, a form of testosterone that is slowly released in the body. It is used as replacement therapy in men with hypogonadism, a condition in which the body does not produce enough testosterone.
Composition and shape
Active substance: testosterone undecanoate
Auxiliary substances: castor oil, purified; benzyl benzoate
Pharmaceutical form: clear, yellowish oily solution for injection
Packaging: ampoule of 4 ml
Method of application
Recommended dose: One ampoule (4 ml) contains 1000 mg testosterone undecanoate and is administered intramuscularly every 10 to 14 weeks. The interval between injections should be carefully monitored and adjusted based on serum testosterone levels and clinical symptoms.
Method of administration: The injection must be administered very slowly, for at least two minutes, deep into the gluteal muscle. It is especially important to avoid injection into a blood vessel.
Note: The therapy should be started under the supervision of a doctor, and during the treatment it is necessary to regularly monitor the level of testosterone in the serum.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, Nebido can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Possible side effects include:
injection site reactions (pain, redness, swelling)
increase in the number of red blood cells
changes in the level of lipids in the blood
fluid retention in the body
weight gain or loss
changes in mood
increased or decreased sexual desire

Contraindications and warnings
Nebido must not be used if you have:
allergy to testosterone undecanoate or any of the excipients

Shipping cost is with tax. The price includes the delivery of the parcel to the buyer's address with the associated tax and customs at the seller's expense. A possible additional cost may be a customs charge against the buyer, depending on the country to which the package is being shipped.
