Mustela Stelatopia Therapeutic Bath Oil (500ml) is a lifesaving solution for the daily care of extremely dry baby skin, as well as skin prone to atopic dermatitis (eczema). This specialized, hydrodispersible oil is designed to dissolve in bath water, where it creates a gentle milky emulsion that deeply penetrates the skin and instantly soothes intense redness and itching.

Its powerful formula, based on natural plant oils, stimulates lipid resynthesis and restores the damaged superficial hydrolipidic layer. Patented Sunflower Oil Distillate soothes the skin, while Sweet Almond Oil and Chamomile extract (bisabolol) create a protective, nourishing film on the baby's body. The bath gently cleanses the skin without soap, does not foam, and leaves the skin perfectly soft and protected throughout the day.

This oil is used differently than classic shower gels! Fill the baby's bathtub with water (the water temperature must not exceed 36°C so that atopic skin does not become further inflamed). Add 2 to 3 caps of oil directly to the water and stir – the water will turn completely white, like milk. Bathe the child in this bath for 5 to 10 minutes. After bathing, DO NOT RINSE the baby with clean water! Take the baby out of the tub and dry them exclusively by gently patting with a soft towel (without rubbing), paying special attention to skin folds. Apply Stelatopia emollient cream immediately afterward.

2. Will the oil make the bathtub slippery?
Yes. Since it is a concentrated plant oil, the water and the bottom of the tub can become slightly slippery, so extra caution is advised when holding and lifting the baby out of the water.

3. Why shouldn't the baby be rinsed after bathing in this oil?
Rinsing would remove the protective lipid film that the almond and sunflower oils have created on the skin. Leaving the oil on the skin provides prolonged hydration and protection.
