FilmTec® Vitamin D 2000 IU IBSA – 30 orodispersible films is a food supplement providing 50 µg, equivalent to 2000 IU, of vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol per film. The innovative FilmTec® orodispersible film is placed directly on the tongue and dissolves rapidly on contact with saliva, without the need for water or swallowing a conventional tablet or capsule.

Vitamin D contributes to normal immune-system function, maintenance of normal bones and teeth and normal muscle function. It also contributes to normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, maintenance of normal blood calcium levels and has a role in the process of cell division.

The film has a pleasant orange flavour, may be taken independently of meals and provides a practical option for people who dislike swallowing tablets and capsules or simply prefer a convenient water-free supplement format.
