FilmTec® Vitamin D 1000 IU IBSA – 30 orodispersible films is a food supplement providing 25 µg vitamin D3, equivalent to 1000 IU of cholecalciferol per film. FilmTec® technology delivers vitamin D3 in an ultra-thin oral film placed directly on the tongue, where it dissolves rapidly on contact with saliva without requiring water or the swallowing of a tablet or capsule.
Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system, maintenance of normal bones and teeth and normal muscle function. It also contributes to normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, maintenance of normal blood calcium levels and has a role in the process of cell division.
The film has a pleasant orange flavour and is individually packed, making daily supplementation convenient at home, at work or while travelling. It is particularly practical for people who find conventional tablets and capsules difficult to swallow.
