Remedies for yeast infection
Products for fungal discomfort are intended to support women dealing with symptoms commonly linked to vaginal candida, disturbed intimate flora, itching, burning, irritation and vaginal discomfort.
Fungal discomfort may occur after antibiotic therapy, stress, hormonal changes, reduced immunity, pregnancy, diabetes or wearing tight synthetic underwear. It is important to support the natural vaginal flora and avoid aggressive intimate hygiene products.
Because fungal and bacterial vaginal symptoms may be similar, repeated symptoms, unpleasant odor, pain, changed discharge or burning during urination should be checked by a gynecologist.

Candida and vaginal flora balance
Vaginal candida occurs when fungi that may normally be present in the intimate area multiply excessively. This often happens when the natural balance of vaginal flora is disturbed.
Common symptoms include itching, burning, redness, irritation and changed discharge. However, similar symptoms may also appear with bacterial imbalance or other vaginal infections.

After antibiotics
Antibiotics may disturb the natural balance of bacteria in the body, including vaginal flora. This is why some women notice itching, burning or discomfort after antibiotic therapy.
Products such as Floralaise and Bioginmax may be useful as support for intimate microflora and vaginal balance.
Pharmacist’s adviceNot every vaginal discomfort should be treated as candida. Itching and burning may be linked to fungi, but also to bacterial imbalance, irritation or other infections. If symptoms repeat, if there is unpleasant odor, changed discharge, pain or burning during urination, a gynecologist should be consulted. Ljubica Barbulović, Master of Pharmacy |
