QUIXX Hypertonic Nasal Spray 30 ml contains natural Atlantic Ocean seawater diluted with purified water to a salt concentration of approximately 2.6%.
The hypertonic solution helps reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa, loosen thick mucus and support its removal. It is intended for additional nasal cleansing and care during congestion associated with colds, rhinitis, sinus discomfort and seasonal allergies.
QUIXX does not contain medicated decongestants such as xylometazoline or oxymetazoline. It is preservative-free and suitable for adults and children from six months of age.

When may QUIXX be used?
- for a blocked nose during a cold;
- when nasal secretions are thick or difficult to remove;
- during rhinitis and swelling of the nasal mucosa;

- for rinsing dust and inhaled particles from the nose;
- as additional care during sinus congestion and pressure.
Composition
100 ml contains 84.6 ml of natural Atlantic Ocean seawater and 15.4 ml of purified water.
The salt concentration corresponds to approximately 26 g of sodium chloride per litre, or a hypertonic solution of approximately 2.6%.
The solution is clear, colourless and odourless. It contains no preservatives or pharmacologically active decongestants.
Directions
Children from 6 months:
1–2 sprays into each nostril, 2–3 times daily.
Adults:
1–3 sprays into each nostril, 2–3 times daily.
- Gently clear the nose before use when necessary.
- Remove the protective cap.
- Before first use, press the pump several times until a fine mist appears.
- Carefully place the applicator tip inside one nostril.
- Press the pump and repeat in the other nostril.
- Clean the applicator with water and replace the cap.
Important information and precautions
- do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to seawater or another component;
- a mild, temporary stinging sensation may occur when treatment is started;
- one bottle should be used by one person only to reduce cross-contamination;
- clean the applicator after each use;
- do not insert the nozzle deeply or apply force;
- an adult should administer the spray to young children;
- do not use a damaged bottle or a solution with an altered appearance;
- keep out of the reach of children and follow the storage instructions on the package;
- seek medical advice for persistent congestion, severe sinus pain, high fever, breathing difficulty or blood in nasal discharge.
Pharmacist’s advice
QUIXX is a hypertonic solution primarily intended for a blocked nose and swollen nasal mucosa. An isotonic product such as QUIXX Soft may be more comfortable for a very dry or sensitive nose.
The nose may be cleansed with seawater before another nasal preparation is used. Wait for several minutes, gently blow the nose and then administer the medicine according to its instructions.
QUIXX does not contain xylometazoline or oxymetazoline. Nevertheless, frequently recurring or long-lasting congestion requires assessment of the underlying cause.
Seek paediatric advice when a baby or young child has breathing difficulty, refuses feeds, develops a fever or becomes unusually sleepy.

For the territory of the Republic of Serbia:
For goods ordered up to 5.000,00 RSD, delivery charge is 260.00 RSD (VAT included). For goods over 5.000,00 RSD, shipping is free of charge.
For international delivery:
For the export of goods abroad through the PostExport service of Post of Serbia, the shipping price is for:
- Zone I (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia) - 1,280.00 RSD
- Zone II (Other European countries) - 1,790.00 RSD
- Zone III (Asia, Africa, America, Australia and other countries) - 2,650.00 RSD
Delivery time is 15 days or more (depending on the country of delivery)
For export of goods abroad through DHL service, the shipping price is 2,700.00 RSD. Delivery time is 1-5 business days (depending on the country of delivery)
Shipping cost is with tax. The price includes the delivery of the parcel to the buyer's address with the associated tax and customs at the seller's expense. A possible additional cost may be a customs charge against the buyer, depending on the country to which the package is being shipped.
