Pharmacist's advice
Let the lozenge dissolve slowly without chewing, and wait a little before eating or drinking afterwards – this keeps the antiseptics on the throat lining for longer. Keep to the 2- to 3-hour interval and no more than 6 lozenges a day.
If you have diabetes, count the sugar in the lozenges. If the sore throat does not settle or gets worse after 3 to 4 days, see a doctor – according to the leaflet, neo-angin is a supportive treatment for throat inflammation.
